Participants in attendance during advocacy  Mbale district together with stakeholders, state and non state actors, councilors and implementing partners convened today Wednesday October in the district lukhobo hall to amplify their wish as a routine seating for transparent leadership on equity representation. Over 30 district councilors  and other invited guests attended a one day workshop organized by the district water office, Mbale District local government. The training was aimed at establishing service points on community needs assessment in areas of water supply and sanitation, provision of capacity development and other support services to Local Governments, most especially in the 14 subcounties and 3 town Councils. Bungokho North constituency  Mbale District. School Environment In Hard To Reach Areas After a hectic schedule for schools' verification exercise, yesterday Monday marked the last day with 84 schools done out of 86. Kilayi and Bunabwire primary schools to be considered on a special audit due to impassible roads. Watasa Mayoka, the principal Internal auditor for Mbale district said his team can't access the remaining schools due to bad weather leading to impassable roads to the two schools.  The challenges noted while the exercise was under way, really brings a lot of attention to the learning institutions with an Infrastructural approach. The schools' enrollments in several schools are convincingly accurate though they were slite drops in some areas.
