Mbale District. Councillors' learning visit on sustainable Land Management Looking at soil and water conservation measures on mountainous grid, tree planting, putting contours, and hedge rows and permanent basins, were core among others. The district sector Councillors of Works, Production and Natural Reources of mbale Dlg visited the Sisiyi multipurpose coopetative society farmers in Bulambuli district to look at different projects under land restoration program. The intergrated land scape management project has improved soil management in various places where project is visible with environmental conservation measures on exhibit. Nadira Godfrey, the extension officer for Sisiyi and Simu subcounties in bulambuli district stressed that 11 parishes in the two sub counties are beneficiary to the program.
